There are many Gun-bluing agents on the market. But, have you ever achieved a satisfactory result with anyone of them? Neither have we - until now. At last it is possible to achieve a professional result.

Many were skeptical when Blac-King came on the market. The skepticism disappeared as it was tested. Blac-King is actually so good that several gunsmiths are using it. And why not - it's the end of boiling

The procedure is so simple that anybody can do it:

• Dilute Blac-King with 3 parts of water. Thus half-a-liter Blac-King will give two liters of ready to use solution. Use a container of stainless steel, plastic or glass.
• Remove all scratches and polish the piece you want to blacken. If the piece has been blackened before, it'll not necessary to remove the old black (blue) finish, but it is very important that all traces of oil and grease have been completely removed. Therefore degrease thoroughly with Robla Kaltentfetter.
• Lower the piece until it's completely covered by the Blac-King solution. Move the piece several times so that even the parts which are in contact with the container will be blackened. Leave it in the solution 8-15 minutes.
• Rinse in water as soon as it is removed from the container.
• Do not wipe the water away, but remove it by using Ustanol oil or a similar water-repellent oil.

Leave it still, covered with Ustanol for at least 24 hours before excessive oil is wiped away. The piece is now ready for use.

For maximum protection of all steel parts we recommend the use of Ballistol oil. NOTE when using Ballistol; Never rub on blackened/blued parts, but wipe off with a lint free cloth .
